GBear is a Mac game library and launcher for emulated and native games, paired with a
companion app on your phone so you can stream your Mac desktop over your local network.
The Mac app is the hub; the companion discovers, pairs, and plays the stream.

A SwiftUI app with tabs for Library, Emulators, Paths, and Streaming.
Your games, emulator profiles, and folder paths are saved locally with SwiftData.
Browse all games, Mac-only titles, or games linked to each emulator

Companion App
A separate Flutter app for iOS and Android. It is not a second copy of the library —
it connects to the Mac app over your LAN to pair, start a stream, and control the desktop from your phone.
Controller mapping lives in the companion (there is no Controllers tab on the Mac app).
Hosts — discover your Mac on the network, add an IP, and approve pairing
Session — start, stop, or resume a desktop stream to your phone
Controller — map gamepad buttons and sticks to keyboard chords, link a physical pad, and use Swap mouse mode
Settings — appearance, stream shortcuts (for example Command + Q), and touchpad tuning
On Android, a native full-screen video view receives H.264 video and audio from the Mac
Touch and gamepad input are sent back to the Mac (Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions required on Mac)
How they work together
Keep your library, emulators, and paths on the Mac
Open the Streaming tab on Mac, then pair from the companion on the same Wi‑Fi
Start a desktop stream on the phone; play and control games remotely while Mac speakers mute during the session
Use the phone’s media volume for stream audio; use Stop on the companion when you are done
